Welcome to my picture page of Toulouse, France. I spent the 1999-2000 academic year studying in Toulouse at Université Paul Sabatier. This page is just a few snaps here of people and places (well people mainly). All thumbnails are links to a bigger version of that pic, so click on dem pictures. This page is currently split into set 1 and set 2.

Set One range from August to December 1999. Credit must go to Michael Bryan for 'twas his camera.    This is the main square in Toulouse, Place Capitol. A typical sunny Toulousain day!
A random shot of one of the centre of Toulouse's many backstreets, this one just off Esquirol is a common example of bizarre architecture and interesting shops. On the way up to the château, from left to right, is Me, Louise, Mike & Tabitha.	OK, so I'm lying to you. This shot is actually of a town called Foix which is an hour south of Toulouse. Admiring the château from left to right is Mike's car, Tabitha, Phillipa, Louise & me. At the top of the château, through the snow, from left to right, is Me, Louise, Phillipa & Tabitha.
Now back to reality with a bump. This is a Tripode at Cité Universitaire de Rangueil, my accommodation for the year.	And now the view from a bedroom window. Stunning.
This is us dining out in one of the many good food, good value, Toulousain restaurants. From left to right; Paul, Amy, Me, Mike, Louise, Caroline, Tabitha & Phillipa.	After dinner, it's d'habitude to move on to some other drinking establishment. From left to right; Tabitha, Me (not looking), Pip, Damien, Caroline (not looking), Amy & Mike.
Bien sûr, we have to take some time away from the harsh realities of an academic life. And where better than the Pyrérées, which are only 1 hour 30 minutes south from Toulouse. Brilliant.	Just to prove that these aren't shots from some brochure; from left to right (you'll have to look hard) is Phillipa, Me, Nicola & Louise.
